Email shows supervision a repeat concern at South High – The News

Clarification: The Lee County school district said Wednesday that the five students who were disciplined with an extended suspension did not return to South Fort Myers High School as planned, and that none of them are enrolled at the high school for next year. This decision was made sometime between May 31, the date of an email referenced in this article, and June 3, the students’ expected return date.

Seven months before a bathroom sex incident occurred on campus, an assistant principal at South Fort Myers High School called for greater after-school supervision.
