Alcohol is associated with more “atypical” sex partner choices and more post-sex regret, compared to marijuana, a small new study finds.
New York researchers report in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior July 20 that many cliches of alcohol-drenched hook-up culture may be true. Alcohol users report becoming more sociable, bold, prone to random sexual encounters, and post-sex regret, as well as impotence. By contrast, pot made people more selective about sex partners and more self-conscious in some cases.
