Sex exploitation trial: Girl, then 15, tells how she felt pressure to have sex with two defendants

A teenager has told how she felt she had to “give something back” after she was plied with drink and drugs by two members of an alleged sexual exploitation gang.

The then 15-year-old said she was pressurised to have sex with the men – Ribas Asad and Heiman Mohammed – in return for booze, cannabis, cocaine and amphetamine.

Prosecutors say the alleged victim is one of six girls and young women targeted by a group of older men, who stand charged with offences including rape, trafficking for sexual exploitation and paying for the sexual services of a child.

Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court have heard vulnerable teenagers, the youngest just 13, claim they were offended against.

Alleged victims were lured to parties and gatherings at houses and flats in Newcastle, where alcohol and drugs were freely available and they were expected to provide sexual favours and services in return, prosecutors say.
