A man who admitted having sex with a youngster has been jailed for six years.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, met the schoolgirl after she spent the night away from home.
Over the next few days they smoked cannabis and had unprotected sex, Bristol Crown Court heard.
The man, who is of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to abducting a child.
He also admitted two charges of having sexual activity with a child, supplying her with cannabis and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The Recorder of Bristol, Judge Peter Blair QC, told him: “You deliberately misinformed police and led them to the conclusion that you didn’t know her. You put psychological pressure on her not to report you.
