A brazen couple who had a 35 minute sex romp under a bridge in broad daylight as stunned walkers and cyclists went past have avoided prison.
Frank Watt and Cheryl Johnstone also avoided being placed on the sex offenders register over their public escapade on November 5 last year.
Johnstone was spotted by a CCTV operator at the bridge performing a sex act on Watt as they sat on a wall beside the staircase that leads to the path on the Tay Road Bridge in Dundee.
The shocked worker went out and told the pair to stop at 2.15pm.
But when he got back to his post he saw the pair had in fact escalated – with both dropping their trousers and engaging in full sexual intercourse.
