New Jersey politician would rather legalize prostitution than cannabis

In an insult to both sex worker and cannabis advocates alike, former New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno said during a radio interview that, “losing an entire generation of children with pot,” would be worse than letting loose laws surrounding the planet’s oldest profession.



In a nod to the benefits of legalizing prostitution, however, Guadagno did point out that prostitution is a victimless crime and would be even safer if regulated. Why she can’t see the same is true for cannabis is a mystery.

And while it sounds like the politician is in favor of legalizing sex for sale, she’s not actually that hip to the idea. She made sure to clear up her stance and point out that she was not, in fact, advocating for prostitution, just hating on marijuana.
