Bristol court listings, week ending January 12: See who was convicted by Magistrates

It’s been a busy week for Crown Prosecution Service prosecutors in the South West.

Here is a comprehensive list of those who have been convicted at Bristol Magistrates’ Court published in partnership with the CPS.

The defendant’s age follows their name and NFA stands for ‘no fixed abode’.

Thomas Willis (29) Old Market Street, Bristol. Pleaded guilty to use of threatening, abusive, insulting words, behaviour with intent to cause fear of, provoke unlawful violence and failing to surrender to police, court bail at an appointed time. Willis was given a 12 month community order, with the requirement to undertake 10 days rehabilitation activity and six months drugs rehabilitation. Willis must also pay £100 compensation.

Richard May (48) Cadbury Heath Road, Cadbury Heath, Bristol. May pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage to a property. May was given a 12 month community order with the requirement to undertake 100 hours unpaid wok and
