The Voice coaches face overflow of talent in blind auditions

THE pool of talent has continued to expand in the latest season of The Voice Australia.

There is such a wealth of talent in the blind auditions of the third series that the reality show’s superstar coaches are offering their time in the studio to some singers who don’t make the cut.

“Australia is such a small country when you think about it,” host Darren McMullen told APN.

“There’s only 20-odd million people and I keep wondering, when is the talent pool going to dry up? I keep expecting it to be next year and then the next year, but we still manage to uncover some of the greatest singers in Australia.

“A lot of the artists we are seeing are long-time professional singers who probably wouldn’t have warmed to some of the other talent shows in the past because of the nature of them.”
